Training Committee

The training committee is responsible for the planning and execution of all activities associated with providing professional and support staff training. The committee: 

  • Provides training and professional development opportunities to the membership on a quarterly basis (at a minimum); 
  • Researches and studies developments and trends in the financial aid profession to identify current training needs; 
  • Identifies location and develop schedules for training activities; 
  • Constructs an annual budget proposal for annual training needs; 
  • Collaborates with the conference committee to assist with training and development offerings; 
  • Coordinates with the website administrator to open online registration for training and events; 
  • Provides a quarterly report of activities to the secretary and president prior to Council meetings and an annual report prior to the annual meeting;
  • Completes other duties as identified.
