Conference Committee
The conference committee is responsible for the planning and execution of all activities associated with the annual conference. The committee:  
- Coordinates conference activities with the membership, training, finance, development, and government relations; 
 
- Coordinates and negotiates contracts and agreements with the conference site; 
 
- Solicits proposals to develop general and training sessions and secure speakers that appeal to the membership perspectives and experience levels; 
 
- Reviews evaluations from prior year conference and collaborate with training and membership to assess interest and need for current conference offerings; 
 
- Assists in the development of the conference budget and adhere to approved budget; 
 
- Prepares a conference evaluation to collect feedback for the following year; 
 
- Coordinates with the treasurer to ensure all expenditures are reported and reconciled; 
 
- Provides a quarterly report of activities to the secretary and president prior to Council meetings and an annual report prior to the annual meeting; 
 
- Completes other duties as identified.
